A problem and conflict of interest might arise from devs playing their own game on sides of the large war conflicts. As you explained already you deem it necessary that devs need to play the game as they do and you won't change that custom.

Maybe you can see the concern at least a part of the playerbase has with devs playing in top ranking positions in large alliances. Maybe you can see the worries that devs has RL friendships with members of a certain alliance.

My suggestion is now: soothe and ease those worries! And the way to do it is not that difficult either. If you have nothing to hide, release data about the players of the devs.

Your policy forbids to name the players itself, well, that can be argued about but since CCP decided this way nothing can be done about it. But: please make a list in which alliances how many devs/gm's/ccp employees are playing!

Such a list should be really easy to compile and it would be anonymous and no dev char would be revealed this way. Just some numbers! This way everyone can see that the devs are not playing one side in masses, they don't do that, right? You have nothing to hide then!

On the other hand, if you don't release such a list because you fear some uproar from the playerbase if you realease it then you shold really think hard about the current conditions. Also: if it is very complicated to compile such a list you should also think very hard, make there is something going on in your staff which you aren't aware of then? If you don't even know yourself such numbers how can you be sure that there isn't such favourism parts of the playerbase are afraid of?

So, please, release such a list!

(Or if you can't, please at least write why you cannot do that!)
